Rowhouses Frikvarteret, Nordhavn

In the neighbourhood Frikvarteret in Nordhavn we have developed classic and vertically organised row houses. The houses have private entrances from the street and are compact family city residences with many spacious experiences and two private outdoor patios – a terrace connected to the yard and a private roof terrace.

A new composition emerges

The row houses have a characteristic sloping roof towards south and east and have split levels in order to optimise the flow of the house. The houses take their starting point in classic industrial architecture, and by building the new houses in between the existing structures, a composition of varying heights, typologies, scale gaps and materiality emerges.
